This man can be seen casually leaning against a rail with a Burlington Route Timetable in his breast pocket. This photograph was taken in 1909 by Louis Bostwick. At this point in time the Burlington was a household name, and many owned the timetables, as it was the most efficient means to traveling long distances at the time.
