This study done by Dr. Carol Angle and colleagues William Manton and Kaye Stanek Krogstrand examined what sources in the home contributed to lead poisoning, particularly in children. They tested this by examining dietary samples, house dust and hand samples, and aerosol samples and then examining lead isotopes in those samples. Data was taken 1990-1997, though the study was not published until 2005.
