Ms. Kring -
1 1 m writing to comment on the Omaha lead cleanup plan. I support lowering the threshold to 400 ppm. The number of health problems and diseases associated with high lead levels continues to climb. I took a lead test (via chelation) earlier this year and my lead levels were quite elevated. Prior EPA testing on our property shows that lead levels in our soil are in the 400 to 700 ppm range.
Along with replacing the soil, I would like to see some assistance in testing our water for heavy metals ~s well. If there are any current
programs for that, 1 1 m not aware of them.
Thank you for your time. Paula Lavigne
