This exhibit will look at the public health side of the lead crisis in Omaha. The effects of lead poisoning and research can be seen through any important figures in history such as Alice Hamilton and Dr. Herbert Needleman. There have also been closer ties to the Omaha community through connections of lead researchers at UNMC and Creighton University. Omaha has made many important and improvements, but still has a long way to go on lead clean up. To view the exhibit, use the menu bar on the left.
